APPLE TV+'s BAD MONKEY
  • John Oritz has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Vince Vaughn. He previously starred in Netflix's one-season drama Messiah and in ABC's one-season drama Promised Land. He also recurred on HBO's Togetherness.
  • He will play Rogelio, a good Key West police detective who comes to his best friend and ex-partner, Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), with a life-changing assignment. It further complicates things that Rogelio's husband is also Yancy's attorney. Ortiz replaces Arturo Luis Soria, who was originally cast in the role.
PEACOCK's A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY
  • Joe Chrest has landed a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Anna Paquin. He currently recurs on Netflix's Stranger Things. He previously recurred on Audience Network's Mr. Mercedes, USA's The Purge and Hulu's Looking for Alaska.
  • He will play Matthew Paulsen, a local bishop in Pocatello, Idaho. He is an important authority figure in the Brobergs' life and plays a powerful role in the community. He believes in protecting members of his congregation and will make choices that he believes are righteous but later regrets.
