AppleTV+'s Mrs. American Pie; Hulu's Unprisoned; NBC's Law & Order; Peacock's Poker Face; and Showtime's Fellow Travelers.

  • Sam Waterston has closed a deal to continue as a series regular on the drama's upcoming 22nd season. When the drama was revived earlier this year for its landmark 21st season after being cancelled a decade ago, Waterston signed a one-year deal to return. Sources say he has signed yet another one-year contract - unlike his co-star Anthony Anderson, who opted to return just for the first revived season.
  • He plays District Attorney Jack McCoy. In returning for Season 22, Waterston will officially become the longest-running cast member on the drama. He will have starred for 18 seasons overall.
  • Carol Burnett has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Kristen Wiig and Allison Janney. She is an Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner. She is best known for starring in her groundbreaking comedy-variety series The Carol Burnett Show, which ran for 11 seasons on CBS.
  • She will play Norma, the grande dame of Palm Beach high society, a keeper of secrets with more than a few of her own.
  • ChloĆ« Sevigny has been cast on the upcoming drama starring Natasha Lyonne and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. She recently starred in the Hulu limited series The Girl From Plainville as well as the second season of Netflix's Russian Doll, which also starred Lyonne.
  • As with all previous casting, no details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
  • Allison Williams will star opposite Matt Bomer in the upcoming limited series created by Ron Nyswaner. She previously starred for six seasons in HBO's Girls and in the 2017 feature film Get Out.
  • She will play Lucy Smith, the daughter of a prominent U.S. Senator who has known Hawk (Bomer) since they were teenagers.
  • Marque Richardson will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo. He previously starred for four seasons in Netflix's Dear White People. He recently recurred on Amazon's Tell Me Your Secrets and National Geographic's Genius: Aretha.
  • He will play Mal, the caseworker at the group home from which Eddie (Lindo) has been released after sixteen years in prison.
