HBO Max Cancels 'Made for Love' After Two Seasons

HBO Max has today announced the cancellation of its original comedy series Made for Love after two seasons. The comedy finished its 16-episode run on May 19, 2022.






HBO Max released the following statement on the cancellation: "We are tremendously grateful for the truly spectacular journey of these past two seasons, courtesy of Alissa Nutting, Christina Lee, Cristin, Billy, Ray and the entire Made for Love cast and creative team - especially Zelda the talking dolphin and everyone's favorite synthetic love interest, Diane. Like a Gogol chip, the series will always be on our minds."

The comedy starred Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Dan Bakkedahl, Noma Dumezweni, Caleb Foote, Sarunas J. Jackson and Ray Romano.

Alissa Nutting, Christina Lee, Patrick Somerville and Dean Bakopoulos developed the series based on the novel by Nutting. They executive produced with Liza Chasin, Daisy Mayer and SJ Clarkson. Paramount Television Studios produced.
