Casting News - July 18, 2022

AMC's The Driver and AppleTV+'s Untitled The Buccaneers Drama

  • Christina Hendricks has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe and Josie Totah. She previously starred for seven seasons in AMC's Mad Men, two seasons in Comedy Central's Another Period, one season in SundanceTV's Hap and Leonard, two seasons in Sky Atlantic's Tin Star and four seasons in NBC's Good Girls.
  • She will play Mrs. St. George, the mother of buccaneers Nan (Froseth) and Jinny (Imogen Waterhouse). As a girl she was the belle of the ball herself, before she even dreamt of having money. Then when her husband struck gold on Wall Street, she found herself wealthy beyond her wildest dreams but in real danger of being the kind of social-climbing outsider that used to bemuse her. Above all else, she wants her daughters to be happy, but soon they'll discover that marriage might not be the key to that happiness - for any of them.
  • Zackary Momoh has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Giancarlo Esposito and Paula Malcomson. He currently stars in HBO's The Nevers, which returns with new episodes at an undetermined date. He previously starred in the Netflix limited series Seven Seconds.
  • He will play a New Orleans-based Zimbabwean gangster notorious for exploiting undocumented immigrants at U.S. southern ports.
