Freevee Reveals Premiere Date for New Comedy 'Sprung' Starring Garret Dillahunt and Martha Plimpton

Freevee has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Sprung starring Garret Dillahunt and Martha Plimpton - who previously starred together in FOX's Raising Hope.






The 9-episode first season will debut on Friday, August 19 with its first two episodes. Two episodes will then be released weekly until the one-hour season finale on September 16.

The comedy focuses on an unlikely group of formerly incarcerated people who band together to use their criminal expertise for good.

In addition to Dillahunt and Plimpton, the comedy stars Phillip Garcia, Shakira Barrera, James Earl and Clare Gillies.

Guest stars include Kate Walsh, Camden Garcia, Andre Jamal Kinney, Chris Bauer, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Mike Rob, Fred Grandy, Steven Ogg, Susan Ruttan and David Wells.

Greg Garcia created the comedy. He executive produces with Dillahunt, Michael Rotenberg and Jonathan Berry. Amazon Studios and 3 Arts Entertainment produce.
