Casting News - August 12, 2022

ABC's Big Sky; AMC's Demascus & Invitation to a Bonfire; AppleTV+'s Lessons in Chemistry; and NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime

AMC's INVITATION TO A BONFIRE
  • Jamie Neumann and Amy Darton have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Freya Mavor, Pilou Asbæk and Tatiana Maslany. Neumann previously starred in the second season of HBO's The Deuce and recurred on HBO's Lovecraft Country. Darton starred in the Audible drama Sleeping Beauty.
  • Neumann will play Nadine. Raised in rural Appalachia, she now works in the kitchen at the Donne School, a tony, all-girls boarding school in New Jersey. Unbeknownst to the current schoolgirls, she was a Donne student herself, many years prior, thanks to the largesse of a generous scholarship.
  • Darton will play Daphne. In the complex social hierarchy of the Donne School, she is the unquestioned queen. But her social standing, silver spoon upbringing and posh clothes cannot save her from the indignities of 1930s womanhood. Daphne may lord over the schoolgirls with unchecked power, but it's only because she has so little real power of her own.
