Casting News - Eiza González to Co-Star on 'La Máquina'; Rob Delaney Joins 'Black Mirror'; Plus 1 More Update!

Hulu's La Máquina; and Netflix's Black Mirror & The Crown.

  • Rufus Kampa, Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy have been cast on the drama's upcoming sixth and final season. All three will be making their series acting debuts on the drama. Bellamy is a newcomer while Kampa and McVey each have a set of stage credits.
  • Kampa and McVey will both play Prince William - with Kampa at age 15 and McVey in his early adult years. Bellamy will play Kate Middleton.
  • Kampa's appearance will chart how the British Royal Family coped with the tragic death of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, who died in August 1997.
  • McVey and Bellamy's storyline will depict William and Kate's courtship, including how they met when both were studying Art History at the University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland in 2001. Married in 2011, the pair are now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
  • Rob Delaney is the latest cast addition to the upcoming sixth season of the anthology series. He previously co-created and starred in Amazon's Catastrophe, which ran for four seasons. He will next be seen in AppleTV+'s upcoming drama Bad Monkey and in Amazon's upcoming drama The Power.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
  • Eiza González will co-star in the upcoming limited series starring Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal. She recently starred in the feature film Ambulance opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. She will next be seen in AppleTV+'s upcoming anthology series Extrapolations and in Netflix's upcoming drama The Three-Body Problem.
  • She will play Irasema, an aspiring sports journalist who approaches boxing as more of an art form. She's the ex-wife of Esteban (Bernal), who she still deeply cares for, and mother to their two children. She's known Esteban and Andy (Luna) since they were teenagers.
