Amazon's Shelter; HBO Max's Dead Boy Detectives; NBC's La Brea; Netflix's Heartstopper; Paramount+'s 1923; and Peacock's Mrs. Davis.





NETFLIX's HEARTSTOPPER
  • Leila Khan, Jack Barton, Bradley Riches and Nima Taleghani have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Khan will make her acting debut with the series. Barton is currently recurring on Epix's War of the Worlds. Riches appeared as a guest star in the first season. Taleghani recurred on the ITV limited series Hatton Garden.
  • Khan will play Sahar Zahid, a Higgs student.
  • Barton will play David Nelson, Nick's older brother.
  • Riches will play James McEwan, a Truham student.
  • Taleghani will play Mr. Farouk, a Truham teacher.
  • The cast additions will join returning series regulars Kit Connor as Nick, Joe Locke as Charlie, Yasmin Finney as Elle, William Gao as Tao, Corinna Brown as Tara, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy, Sebastian Croft as Ben, Tobie Donovan as Isaac, Rhea Norwood as Imogen, Jenny Walser as Tori, Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry, Stephen Fry as Headmaster Barnes and Olivia Colman as Sarah Nelson.
NBC's LA BREA
  • Martin Sensmeier has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously recurred on HBO's Westworld, Paramount Network's Yellowstone, Paramount+'s 1883 and Peacock's Rutherford Falls.
  • He will play Taamet, the leader of The Exiles, a dangerous group of people living in 10,000 BC. He will become a feared adversary of the La Brea survivors.
PARAMOUNT+'s 1923
  • Jerome Flynn has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. He previously starred for seven seasons in HBO's Game of Thrones.
  • He will play Banner Creighton, a hard-headed Scottish brogue and the leader of the local sheep men.
AMAZON's SHELTER
  • Didi Conn, Missi Pyle, Hunter Emery, Antonio Cipriano, Peter Riegert, Adrienne Barbeau, Stephanie March, Kristoffer Polaha, Samantha Bugliaro, Narci Regina, Alexa Mareka, Manuel Uriza and Lee Aaron Rose have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Jaden Michael.
  • Conn (Grease, Bension) will play Mrs. Friedman, a sweet, quick-witted history teacher at Kasselton High School whose past is more complex than she lets on.
  • Pyle (Impulse, Y: The Last Man) will play Hannah, Troy's (Brian Altemus) mom, who was Shira's (Constance Zimmer) best friend in high school but is now married to Shira's high school boyfriend, Sheriff Ken Taylor. This chic woman appears to have the perfect life, but of course, nothing is as it seems.
  • Emery (Orange Is the New Black, Hightown) will play Sunglasses Man, Bat Lady's (Tovah Feldshuh) mysterious right-hand man, with a lethal presence.
  • Cipriano (Jagged Little Pill, National Treasure: Edge of History) will play Buck, a cocky high school basketball player and theater boy. With the brain of an ostrich and the voice of an angel, he is Troy's best friend, and frequent tormentor of Mickey (Michael), Spoon (Adrian Greensmith) and Ema (Abby Corrigan).
  • Riegert (Show Me a Hero, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) will play Allen, Mickey's beloved grandfather and Shira's effervescent father. The nostalgia of being back in his family home triggers a wave of grief for his son, Brad.
  • Barbeau (Maude, General Hospital) will play Ellen, Mickey's fun-loving grandmother and Shira's mother. Her passive-aggressive remarks about her daughter's personal life can be overbearing. Cunning and intuitive, she can identify concealed animosity and deflect tension. She has found it difficult to discuss her grief over her late son.
  • March (Law & Order: SVU, Naomi) will play Angelica Wyatt, an acclaimed stage-and-screen actor who is the benefactor of Kasselton High's art program through a nonprofit organization.
  • Polaha (Wonder Woman 1984, Jurassic World Dominion) will play Brad, Mickey's father and Shira's brother. Well-traveled, smart and charismatic, he is an ideal father to Mickey - but he's concealing a secret life to protect his son.
  • Bugliaro (5th Borough) will play Ashley Kent, a new student at Kasselton High with a secret darker and more sinister than Mickey or his friends could ever imagine.
  • Regina (Law & Order: SVU, The Equalizer) will play Kitty, Mickey's mother. Despite how smart and insightful she is, she faces internal struggles, some of which may present a challenge to her when it comes to helping her beloved son.
  • Mareka (Bull, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) will play Whitney, who was known as Buck's weird and artsy twin sister until gaining status as a social media star with her makeup skills. She takes an interest in Ema.
  • Uriza (Snowfall, Narcos: Mexico) will play Octoface, a terrifying man who always seems to show up when there's trouble. He was given the name "Octoface" because of the large octopus tattoo on his face.
  • Rosen (FBI, Emily in Paris) will play Ken Taylor, the local police chief in Kasselton and Troy's father. He appears to be determined to bust Mickey for something. He still holds a torch for his high school girlfriend, Shira.
PEACOCK's MRS. DAVIS
  • Chris Diamantopoulos, Ashley Romans and Katja Herbers will appear in the upcoming drama starring Betty Gilpin and Jake McDorman. Diamantopoulos previously starred for two seasons in HBO's Silicon Valley and in the Netflix limited series True Story. Romans starred in the second season of AMC's NOS4A2 and in FX's one-season drama Y: The Last Man. Herbers currently stars in Paramount+'s Evil, which has been renewed for a fourth season.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
HBO MAX's DEAD BOY DETECTIVES
  • Lukas Gage is set for a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri and Kassius Nelson. He previously starred in the first season of HBO's The White Lotus and in the Peacock limited series Angelyne. He also recurred on HBO's Euphoria and Hulu's Love, Victor. He will next star in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix's You.
  • He will play the Cat King, a charming trickster and itinerant cat spirit, who takes a keen interest in Edwin Payne (Rexstrew).
