FOX Reveals Premiere Date for New Anthology Drama 'Accused'

FOX has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original anthology drama series Accused.

The first season will launch on Sunday, January 22 at 9/8c. The drama will then move to its regular time slot on Tuesday, January 24 at 9/8c.

Each episode is a fast-paced provocative thriller, exploring a different crime, in a different city, with an entirely original cast. Based on the BBC crime anthology, the series opens in a courtroom on the defendant, with viewers knowing nothing about their crime or how they ended up on trial. Told from the defendant's point of view through flashbacks, the show holds a mirror up to current times with evocative and emotional stories. In the end, audiences will discover how an ordinary person gets caught up in extraordinary circumstances, and how one impulsive decision can impact the course of that life - and the lives of others - forever.

The cast features Rachel Bilson, Abigail Breslin, Michael Chiklis, Whitney Cummings, Jack Davenport, Margo Martindale, Molly Parker, Rhea Perlman, Wendell Pierce, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and more!

Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and David Shore developed the series. They executive produce with Glenn Geller, Erin Gunn, Jacob Cohen-Holmes, Jimmy McGovern, Sita Williams, Roxy Spencer and Michael Cuesta. Fox Entertainment, Sony Pictures Television and All3Media America produce.
