DISNEY+'s PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS
  • Jay Duplass and Timothy Omundsen have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries. Duplass previously starred for four seasons in Amazon's Transparent, in the Netflix limited series The Chair and in the second season of HBO's Industry. Omundsen starred for eight seasons in USA's Psych as well as its three follow-up films.
  • Duplass will play Hades, the god of the Underworld. He feels like an outcast from his family and a misunderstood genius. He holds a grudge for past wrongs and plays his cards close to the chest.
  • Omundson will play Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths. He became disabled when he was thrown off Mount Olympus as a babe. Despite that, his strength is legendary, and his capacity for kindness and mercy sets him apart from his brothers and sisters in the dog-eat-dog world of the gods.

  • Millie Gibson has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming fourteenth season. She previously starred for three years in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street.
  • She will play Ruby Sunday, the new Doctor's (Ncuti Gatwa) companion.
