Hulu Orders 8 Episodes of Comedy 'How to Die Alone' Created by and Starring Natasha Rothwell

Hulu has today given a series order to the original comedy series How to Die Alone created by and starring Natasha Rothwell (Insecure, The White Lotus). The first season will produce 8 episodes.

The comedy will follow Melissa (Rothwell), a fat, Black neurotic who's never been in love. After a comical brush with death, she refuses to settle for anything less than the life she wants, catapulting her on a journey to becoming "100% that bitch" in real life by any means necessary.

Rothwell will serve as co-showrunner alongside Vera Santamaria. They will both executive produce with Desiree Akhaven. ABC Signature, Onyx Collective and Big Hattie Productions will produce.
