HULU's THE OTHER BLACK GIRL
  • Garcelle Beauvais has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Sinclair Daniel and Ashleigh Murray. She currently stars in Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which recently finished its twelfth season.
  • She will play Diana Gordon, a world renowned author who has been best friends with Kendra Rae Phillips, the former Black editor at Wagner. They lived in the same neighborhood and remained besties all throughout college, and Kendra Rae even edited the book that launched her into stardom. Since the book came out, the pair have grown apart.
THE CW's THE FLASH
  • Nicole Maines will reprise her Supergirl role in an upcoming episode of the drama's ninth and final season. She previously played Nia Nal aka Dreamer for three seasons in The CW's Supergirl.
  • In the episode, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) and Nia Nal investigate their own very bizarre and frightening mystery.
HBO MAX's DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD
  • Josh Heuston and Edward Davis have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Emily Watson, Shirley Henderson and Travis Fimmel. Heuston currently stars in Netflix's Heartbreak High, which has been renewed for a second season. Davis recurred on AMC's The Little Drummer Girl and appeared in the film Emma.
  • Heuston will play Constantine, the illegitimate son of the Emperor (Mark Strong). He is torn between seeking his father's approval and his own happiness.
  • Davis will play Harrow Harkonnen, a rising politician from a once-great family, who harbors a strong desire to elevate his House to its former glory.
PEACOCK's DR. DEATH
  • Luke Kirby, Ashley Madekwe and Gustaf Hammarsten will co-star opposite Edgar Ramirez and Mandy Moore in the upcoming second installment of the anthology series. Kirby won an Emmy Award in 2019 for his guest performance in Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Madekwe previously starred for three seasons in WGN America's Salem and in the second season of Paramount+'s Tell Me a Story. Hammarsten appeared in the films Brüno, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Old.
  • Kirby will play Dr. Nathan Gamelli, a cardiovascular surgeon working at a world class hospital in Sweden. He faces pressure after voicing doubts about Dr. Paolo Macchiarini's (Ramirez) groundbreaking surgeries.
  • Madekwe will play Dr. Ana Lasbrey, a doctor at the institute. She joins Macchiarini's team, hoping to fast-track her career in stem cell research.
  • Hammarsten will play Dr. Svensson, a family man and researcher. He is running Macchiarini's clinical trials on lab rats when alarm bells begin to sound.
