Casting News - Faly Rakotohavana and Jordyn McIntosh to Co-Star on 'Unprisoned'; Joseph Mawle Lands Recurring Role on '1923'

Casting News - December 16, 2022

Hulu's Unprisoned and Paramount+'s 1923.

  • Faly Rakotohavana and Jordyn McIntosh will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo. Rakotohavana previously starred in the Disney+ film Secret Society of Second-Born Royals. McIntosh currently appears in the AppleTV+ film Emancipation.
  • Rakotohavana will play Finn. Super-logical, low-key but hilarious, sweet, smart and hyper-rational, he is the son of single mom/family therapist/influencer Paige (Washington). He is open-hearted and open-minded toward his grandfather (Lindo), and their relationship becomes a bridge home for Edwin - and a bridge into the world for Finn.
  • McIntosh will play Little Paige. 7-year-old Little Paige is the personification of grown-up Paige's Inner Child, she's the part of Paige untouched by everything that has happened in her life - losing her mother, foster care, a dad in prison. She shows up regularly, speaking directly to us (and to Paige), with a hilarious and incisive wisdom of the all-knowing child.
  • Joseph Mawle has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. He previously recurred on HBO's Game of Thrones and starred in the first season of Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
  • He will play Shipley, the captain of a British cargo ship, who has seen a lot during his years at sea.
