Peacock Orders Untitled Drama from Ian McCulloch and James Wan Inspired by the Novel 'Stringer'

Peacock has today given a series order to an untitled original drama series inspired by the novel Stringer written by Robert McCammon. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.

The drama will follow a disparate group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat.

Ian McCulloch developed the drama, with E.L. Katz directing the premiere. They will executive produce with McCammon, James Wan, Michael Clear and Rob Hackett. Universal Content Productions and Atomic Monster will produce.

"We are so excited for this adrenalized thriller about a group of people overcoming adversity, that's both entertaining and emotional," said Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. "We know this upcoming drama will be in expert hands with James Wan, E.L. Katz, Ian McCulloch, our partners at UCP, and is sure to be a binge-worthy mystery for Peacock audiences."
