Amazon's #1 Happy Family USA & Cross; Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again; FX's The Sterling Affairs; Hulu's Only Murders in the Building & We Were the Lucky Ones; and Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer.

  • Ido Samuel and Lihi Kornowski have booked recurring roles on the upcoming limited series starring Joey King and Logan Lerman. Samuel previously guest starred on Amazon's Transparent and CBS' FBI: International. Kornowski starred in the AppleTV+ limited series Losing Alice.
  • Samuel will play Isaac. A loyal friend, he tries to help Mila (Hadas Yaron) and her young daughter escape the ghetto, but his effectiveness - and his relationship with the Kurc family - is painfully tested by his role in the Jewish Police.
  • Kornowski will play Eliska. Young, wealthy and beautiful, she meets Addy (Lerman) on a ship carrying refugees attempting to escape the Nazis.
  • Sharon Taylor has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Aldis Hodge. She previously starred in CBC's one-season drama Bellevue and in the second season of CityTV's Bad Blood. She also recurred on Netflix's Altered Carbon.
  • She will play Lt. Oracene Massey, Alex Cross' (Hodge) immediate superior at the Metro PD. She is a tireless self-promoter who understands that advancement doesn't always have anything to do with catching the bad guys, but with pleasing those higher ups. Taylor replaces Karen LeBlanc, who was originally cast in the role but has now left due to scheduling conflicts.
  • Harriet Samson Harris, Corbin Bernsen, Yvonna Pearson, Joel McKissic, Darryl Wesley, Rich Sommer and Clifton Davis have landed recurring roles on the upcoming limited series starring Laurence Fishburne, Jacki Weaver and Ed O'Neill. Harris received an Emmy Award nomination last year for her guest performance in HBO Max's Hacks. Bernsen previously starred for eight seasons in NBC's L.A. Law and eight seasons in USA's Psych. Pearson recently recurred on Peacock's The Best Man: The Final Chapters. McKissic recurred on Showtime's Your Honor. Wesley is a staff writer on Paramount+'s The Game and Netflix's The Upshaws. Sommer starred for seven seasons in AMC's Mad Men. Davis recurred on CBS' Madam Secretary, Showtime's Billions and MGM+'s Godfather of Harlem.
  • Harris will play Justine. Bernsen will play Pierce O'Donnell. Pearson will play Deja. McKissic will play Glen "Big Baby" Davis. Wesley will play Jamal Crawford. Sommer will play Seth Burton. Davis will play Elgin Baylor.
  • Meryl Streep has joined the cast of the comedy's upcoming third season. She has received 21 Academy award nominations - winning three times for her performances in Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie's Choice and The Iron Lady. Furthermore, she has received five Emmy Award nominations - winning three times for her roles in NBC's Holocaust, HBO's Angels in America and Netflix's Five Came Back.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing. Her casting was revealed in a video on Selena Gomez's Instagram account. Gomez was joined by her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short as well as returning guest stars Andrea Martin and Paul Rudd.
  • Alia Shawkat, Salma Hindy, Randa Jarrar, Mandy Moore, Chris Redd, Akaash Singh and Whitmer Thomas will lead the voice cast of the upcoming animated comedy created by and starring Ramy Youssef. Shawkat previously starred for five seasons in FOX/Netflix's Arrested Development and five seasons in TBS/HBO Max's Search Party. Hindy and Singh are stand-up comedians. Jarrar guest starred on Hulu's Ramy. Moore starred for six seasons in NBC's This Is Us. Redd starred for five seasons in NBC's Saturday Night Live. Thomas guest starred on Netflix's GLOW and Hulu's Shrill.
  • Shawkat will play Mona Hussein, Rumi's (Youssef) slightly older, much taller sister and golden child of the family.
  • Hindy will play Sharia Hussein, Rumi and Mona's mom, a loud, passionate woman who has made it her mission to raise a good family - and solve the conspiracy around Princess Diana's death.
  • Jarrar will play Grandma, Sharia's mom, an unapologetically blunt niqabi who loves talk shows.
  • Moore will play Mrs. Malcolm, Rumi's sixth-grade teacher and crush, who loves shaping young minds and romancing NBA All-Stars. 
  • Redd will play Marcus, Rumi's closest friend and classmate. He is an anime superfan who may understand Rumi's struggle better than anyone.
  • Singh will play Dev, Rumi's friend and classmate. He is a social operator who helps Rumi navigate school politics in the hopes Mona will notice him.
  • Thomas will play Garrett, the rolly-backpack kid of Rumi's class. He remains cheerful in the face of everyone hating him.
  • Matt Angel is set for a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously recurred on MTV's Sweet/Vicious and guest starred on CBS' NCIS
  • He will play Henry Dahl, a cosmopolitan erudite with a hipster haircut and clothes. He is the host of a successful true crime podcast that acts the role of a Good Samaritan. Distrustful of Henry's motives, Mickey (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) warns him not to interfere with an ongoing case.
  • Nikki M. James will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio. She won a Tony Award in 2011 for her performance in the musical The Book of Mormon. She also recurred on Paramount+'s The Good Fight and AppleTV+'s Severance.
  • No details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
