PEACOCK's THOSE ABOUT TO DIE
  • Anthony Hopkins will headline the cast of the upcoming drama created by Robert Rodat. He has received six Academy Award nominations - winning for his performances in The Silence of the Lambs and The Father. He has also received six Emmy Award nominations - winning for his performances in NBC's The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case and CBS' The Bunker.
  • He will play Vespasian, the Emperor of Rome and head of the Flavian bloodline. Battle tested and a rural upstart, he claimed his throne after victory in a bloody 10-year civil war. He is aging and despised by the Patricians jockeying for position in the Empire and looking to supplant his heirs to the throne the first chance they get.
HBO's THE PALACE
  • Martha Plimpton has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts and Andrea Riseborough. She has received three Emmy Award nominations - winning in 2012 for her guest role in CBS' The Good Wife. She also has received three Tony Award nominations. 
  • No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing. 
HULU's HOW I MET YOUR FATHER
  • Meaghan Rath has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. She previously starred for four seasons in Syfy's Being Human and three seasons in CBS' Hawaii Five-0. She also recurred on FOX's New Girl, Cinemax's Banshee, ABC's Secrets & Lies and The CW's Supergirl.
  • She will play Parker, a co-worker of Jesse's (Christopher Lowell).
