PEACOCK's DR. DEATH
- Rita Volk, Judy Reyes, Jack Davenport, Annika Boras and Sandra Andreis have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Volk previously starred for three seasons in MTV's Faking It. Reyes starred for eight seasons in NBC/ABC's Scrubs, four seasons in Lifetime's Devious Maids and four seasons in TNT's Claws. Davenport starred in the first season of Paramount+'s Why Women Kill and in the first season of AppleTV+'s The Morning Show. Boras guest starred on HBO's Succession and CBS' FBI. Andreis recurred on the Swedish series Snabba Cash.

STARZ's THE VENERY OF SAMANTHA BIRD
- Finn Jones, Embeth Davidtz, Brenda Strong, Adam Faison, Shalini Bathina and Tyrone Marshall Brown have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Katherine Langford. Jones previously starred for two seasons in Netflix's Iron Fist. Davidtz recurred on AMC's Mad Men, Showtime's Ray Donovan and AppleTV+'s The Morning Show. Strong starred for three seasons in TNT's Dallas and in the third season of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why. Faison starred for two seasons in Freeform's Everything's Gonna Be Okay. Bathina starred in AppleTV+'s one-season dramedy Little Voice and in Spectrum's one-season drama Long Slow Exhale. Brown starred in OWN's one-season drama Love Is___.
- Jones will play Jake Minot, the fearless, ruggedly handsome and quietly charismatic former childhood sweetheart of Samantha Bird (Langford). It's been many years since they've seen each other, but when they meet again during Sam's trip to New England, they pick up like no time has passed.
- Davidtz will play Carol Minot, Jake's mother and an old family friend of the Birds.
- Strong will play Nan Bird, Sam and Ellie's (Francesca Reale) mother.
- Faison will play Nigel, a local New Hampshire-based podcaster and Ellie's close friend.
- Bathina will play Dr. Priyanka Yalen. Reserved and sophisticated, she is Jake's therapist, much to the chagrin of her husband.
- Brown will play Gideon Yalen, Priyanka's husband who has concerns about Jake, and his wife taking him on as a patient.
