Peacock Cancels 'One of Us Is Lying' and 'Vampire Academy'

Peacock has today decided to cancel its original drama series One of Us Is Lying after two seasons and its original drama series Vampire Academy after one season.






One of Us Is Lying starred Annalisa Cochrane, Chibuikem Uche, Marianly Tejada, Cooper van Grootel, Barrett Carnahan, Jessica McLeod, Melissa Collazo, Sara Thompson and Alimi Ballard.

Erica Saleh developed the drama based on the novel by Karen M. McManus. She executive produced with Darío Madrona, John Sacchi, Matt Groesch, Jan Oxenberg, Molly Nussbaum and Bill Johnson. Universal Content Productions and 5 More Minutes Productions produced.

The drama finished its 16-episode run across two seasons on October 20, 2022.


Vampire Academy starred Sisi Stringer, Daniela Nieves, Kieron Moore, André Dae Kim, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Jonetta Kaiser, Andrew Liner, Rhian Blundell and J. August Richards.

Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre developed the drama based on the novels by Richelle Mead. They executive produced with Emily Cummins, Don Murphy, Susan Montford, Deepak Nayar and Jillian DeFrehn. Universal Television, My So-Called Company, Angry Films Entertainment, Kintop Pictures and Big Whoop Productions produced.

The drama ended its 10-episode first and only season on October 27, 2022.
