Disney+ Reveals Premiere Date for New Drama 'The Crossover' Starring Jalyn Hall and Amir O'Neil

During the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour today, Disney+ announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series The Crossover starring Jalyn Hall and Amir O'Neil.






The first season will debut Tuesday, April 4 at 7/6c. on Disney Channel and Wednesday, April 5 on Disney+.

Based on the novel by Kwame Alexander, 14-year-old basketball phenom brothers Josh (Hall) and JB Bell (O'Neil) come of age on and off the court as their former pro-baller father adjusts to life after basketball and their mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own.

In addition to Hall and O'Neil, the drama stars Derek Luke, Sabrina Revelle, Skyla I'Lece, Deja Monique Cruz and Trevor Raine Bush, with Daveed Diggs narrating.

Alexander co-created the drama with Damani Johnson. They executive produce with Bob Teitel, Jay Marcus, LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson and director George Tillman Jr. 20th Television and The SpringHill Company produce.
