ABC's THE HURT UNIT
- Melissa George is set as the female lead on the drama pilot starring Ben McKenzie. She previously starred in the third season of ABC's Alias, in Hulu's one-season drama The First and for two seasons in AppleTV+'s The Mosquito Coast. She also recurred on ABC's Grey's Anatomy and CBS' The Good Wife.
- She will play Dr. Rachel Ashcroft, the Head of Psychiatry and Deputy Chief of Administration at Nashville's City South Hospital. In that latter capacity, she gets into frequent and epic clashes with Dr. Danny Marsh (McKenzie). A brilliant and intuitive psychotherapist, Rachel plays a crucial role in the ongoing care of the badly traumatized patients of the Hurt Unit - and on occasion, in counseling the deeply flawed doctors themselves.
ABC's UNTITLED DREW GODDARD PROJECT
- Deniz Akdeniz will co-star on the drama pilot starring Kaitlin Olson and Daniel Sunjata. He previously starred for two seasons in HBO Max's The Flight Attendant. He also recurred on ABC's Once Upon a Time, Freeform's Siren, FOX's The Cleaning Lady and ABC's The Rookie: Feds.
- He will play Lev "Oz" Osman.
