AMAZON's THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER
  • Ciarán Hinds, Rory Kinnear and Tanya Moodie have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Hinds received an Academy Award nomination in 2022 for his supporting performance in the film Belfast. Kinnear starred for three seasons in Showtime's Penny Dreadful and in the first season of HBO Max's Our Flag Means Death. Moodie starred for two seasons in BBC Two's Motherland.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
PEACOCK's THOSE ABOUT TO DIE
  • Iwan Rheon, Liraz Charhi, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Rupert Penry-Jones, Eneko Sagardoy, Pepe Barroso, Gonçalo Almeida, Kyshan Wilson and Alicia Edogamhe have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Anthony Hopkins. Rheon previously starred for three seasons in HBO's Game of Thrones. Charhi starred in the first season of AppleTV+'s Tehran. Jóhannesson starred for two seasons in Netflix's Vikings: Valhalla. Penry-Jones starred for three seasons in FX's The Strain. Sagardoy starred in the Spanish drama Patria. Barroso recurred on the Spanish drama High Seas. Almeida starred in the second season of the Portuguese telenovela Amor Amor. Wilson recurred on the RTI/Lux Vide series Viola. Edogamhe starred for three seasons in Netflix's Summertime.
  • Rheon will play Tenax, an ambitious crime boss. He replaces Lorenzo Richelmy, who was originally cast in the role but has left over scheduling conflicts.
  • Charhi will play Berenice, queen of the conquered Judea's held captive in Rome.
  • Jóhannesson will play Viggo, an imposing Norse gladiator.
  • Penry-Jones will play Marsus, a wealthy patrician and retired general who desires the throne.
  • Sagardoy, Barroso and Almeida will play the Corsi brothers.
  • Wilson will play Aura, a female gladiator in training.
  • Edogamhe will play a slave who is sold to Marsus and Antonia (Gabriella Pession).
MGM+'s HOTEL COCAINE
  • Michael Chiklis will star opposite Danny Pino in the upcoming drama created by Chris Brancato. He previously starred for seven seasons in FX's The Shield, winning an Emmy Award in 2002 for his lead performance. He also starred for one season in FX's American Horror Story and two seasons in FOX's Gotham.
  • He will play Agent Zulio, who will stop at nothing to shut down the drug trade, even if it means using innocent civilians to accomplish his ends.
