AppleTV+ Announces Premiere Date for New Drama 'Silo' Starring Rebecca Ferguson

AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Silo (formerly Wool) starring Rebecca Ferguson.

The 10-episode first season will launch on Friday, May 5 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday until the season finale on June 30.

Based on the trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey, the drama depicts the story of the last ten thousand people on earth and their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.

Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will.

In addition to Ferguson, the drama stars Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones and Tim Robbins.

Graham Yost developed the drama. He executive produces with Ferguson, Howey, Nina Jack, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, Ingrid Escajeda and director Morten Tyldum. AMC Studios produces.
