FOX Cancels 'Call Me Kat' After Three Seasons

FOX has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Call Me Kat after three seasons. The comedy wrapped its 53-episode run on May 4, 2023.







The comedy starred Mayim Bialik, Swoosie Kurtz, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant and Cheyenne Jackson.

The late Leslie Jordan starred on the comedy until his sudden death in October 2022.

Jim Patterson and Maria Ferrari served as showrunners on the third season. They executive produced with Bialik, Jim Parsons, Todd Spiewak, Angie Stephenson and Miranda Hart. Fox Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television, Sad Clown Productions, That's Wonderful Productions and BBC Studios produced.

FOX released the following statement on the cancellation: "We are very proud of Call Me Kat. But, unfortunately, the audience response to it was not as strong as we had hoped. We are thankful for our partnership with Warner Bros. Television, That's Wonderful Productions, Sad Clown Productions, BBC Studios, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons and the entire cast and crew for their work and dedication to Call Me Kat."
