Paramount+ Reveals Premiere Date for Season 4 of 'Star Trek: Lower Decks'

Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming fourth season of its original animated comedy series Star Trek: Lower Decks.

The 10-episode fourth season will debut on Thursday, September 7 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday.

In the new season, an unknown force is destroying starships and threatening galactic peace. Luckily, the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos isn't important enough for stuff like that! Instead, Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford and Provisional Ensign T'Lyn are keeping up with their Starfleet duties, avoiding malevolent computers and getting stuck in a couple caves - all while encountering new and classic aliens along the way.

The voice cast features Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O'Connell, Fred Tatasciore and Gillian Vigman.

Mike McMahan created the series. He executive produces with Alex Kurtzman, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Katie Krentz and Aaron Baiers. CBS' Eye Animation Productions, Secret Hideout, 219 Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment produce.

Moreover, the Lower Decks crossover with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will receive a surprise early release later today on Paramount+. Following a special screening at San Diego Comic-Con today, the episode will be available to stream at 7/6c.
