NBC Renews 'Found' and 'The Irrational'

NBC has today renewed its original drama series Found and The Irrational for second seasons. Both dramas aired this fall as they both had full episodes produced before the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes began.

"These shows are a testament to the incredibly passionate work of our showrunners Nkechi Okoro Carroll and Arika Lisanne Mittman, both of whom have executed their visions flawlessly," said Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Entertainment. "A huge thank you to the talented cast, producers and crews for their tireless commitment and dedication, which has clearly paid off with audiences making these series must-see television on both NBC and next day on Peacock."

Found stars Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Arlen Escarpeta, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh and Karan Oberoi.

Nkechi Okoro Carroll created the drama. She executive produces with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Sonay Hoffman, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn. Universal Television, Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions and Rock My Soul Productions produce.

All 13 episodes of the drama's first season were produced before the strikes occurred. Nine episodes have aired to date - with two more set for December and the remaining two airing in January 2024.

The Irrational stars Jesse L. Martin, Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz and Arash DeMaxi.

Arika Lisanne Mittman created the drama. She executive produces with Mark Goffman, Samuel Baum and David Frankel. Universal Television, Simon-Binx Productions, Samuel Baum Productions and Off the Cliff Entertainment produce.

Seven episodes of the 11-episode first season were produced before the strikes commenced. All seven have already aired. The show has returned to production on its final four episodes - which will begin airing on Monday, January 29 at 10/9c.
