Max Cancels 'Warrior' After Three Seasons

Max has today decided to cancel its original drama series Warrior after three seasons. The drama finished its 30-episode run on August 17, 2023.

The drama starred Andrew Koji, Olivia Cheng, Dianne Doan, Jason Tobin, Kieran Bew, Dean Jagger, Tom Weston-Jones, Hoon Lee, Langley Kirkwood, Perry Yung, Dustin Nguyen, Miranda Raison, Chen Tang, Chelsea Muirhead, Mark Dacascos, Joe Taslim and Adam Rayner.

Jonathan Tropper created the drama. He executive produced with Evan Endicott, Josh Stoddard, Justin Lin, Danielle Woodrow, Andrew Schneider, Shannon Lee, Brad Kane and Richard Sharkey. Perfect Storm Entertainment, Tropper Ink Productions and Bruce Lee Entertainment produced.

Moreover, all three seasons of the drama have been picked up by Netflix in a co-exclusive deal with Max. That platform will launch the series in February 2024. If it draws a sizable audience, then that streamer has the option to potentially order a fourth season. The drama aired its first two seasons on Cinemax and then transitioned to Max for Season 3.
