Max Sets Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'Tokyo Vice'

Max has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original drama series Tokyo Vice.







The 10-episode second season will launch on Thursday, February 8 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday.

Loosely inspired by American journalist Jake Adelstein's first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat, season two takes us deeper into the city's criminal underworld as Adelstein comes to realize that his life, and the lives of those close to him, are in terrible danger.

The drama stars Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ayumi Ito, Yosuke Kubozuka and Miki Maya.

J.T. Rogers created the drama. He executive produces with Elgort, Watanabe, Adelstein, Alan Poul, Alex Boden, Josef Kubota Wladyka, Brad Caleb Kane, Adam Stein, Emily Gerson Saines, Kayo Washio, Destin Daniel Cretton, John Lesher and Michael Mann. Fifth Season produces in association with Max and WOWOW.
