AppleTV+ Orders 8 Episodes of Drama 'Prime Target' Starring Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell

AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original drama series Prime Target starring Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, One Day) and Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam, In Treatment). The first season will produce 8 episodes.





The drama will follow a brilliant young math post-graduate, Edward (Woodall), on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world. Soon he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it's even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders (Swindell), a female NSA agent, who's been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians' behavior. Together they start to piece together the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.

In addition to Woodall and Swindell, the drama will star Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Sidse Babbett Knudsen, Jason Flemyng, Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman, Fra Fee and Joseph Mydell.

Steve Thompson created the drama. He will executive produce with Ridley Scott, Ed Rubin, Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Marina Brackenbury, David W. Zucker, Laura Hastings-Smith and director Brady Hood. New Regency and Scott Free Productions will produce.
