Jonigkeit starred for two seasons in Starz's Sweetbitter and in Netflix's one-season drama Archive 81.
  • Mulroney will play Jed Banks, a fifth-generation oil man, alpha millionaire and the husband of trophy wife Margo (Akerman). • Jonigkeit will play Graham O'Neil, Sophie's (Snow) safe, solid, and somewhat clueless husband. He loves his wife but does not know how to handle her emotional baggage. He thinks the move to Texas will help Sophie, and he encourages her involvement with Margo - but he has no idea of the Pandora's Box it will open.
  • Thomas Lennon, Chelsea Frei and Larry Joe Campbell will guest star on the comedy's upcoming second season. Lennon previously starred for eight seasons in Comedy Central's Reno 911! and three seasons in CBS' The Odd Couple. Frei starred for two seasons in FOX's The Moodys. Campbell starred for eight seasons in ABC's According to Jim and recurred on FOX/Hulu's The Orville.
  • Lennon will play Patrick Shaw, Frank's (Joel McHale) older brother, who is an occasionally competent police officer who loves giving people a hard time, especially his brother.
  • Frei will play Isabelle, an intriguing free spirit who Shred (Michael Rowland) meets out in the field.
  • Campbell will play Carl, a seemingly innocuous co-worker at Animal Control who competes with Frank in the election for union representative.
  • Nicole Brydon Bloom, Gerald McRaney, Krys Marshall, Charlie Evans and Jon Beavers have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Sterling K. Brown. Bloom previously recurred on HBO's The Gilded Age. McRaney won an Emmy Award in 2017 for his guest role on NBC's This Is Us. Marshall starred for four seasons in AppleTV+'s For All Mankind. Evans starred in the Netflix film Leave the World Behind. Beavers starred in the fifth season of TNT's Animal Kingdom.
  • Bloom will play Jane, a young secret service agent who considers Brown's character a mentor and father figure.
  • McRaney will recur as Kane, the father of the President (James Marsden), a captain of industry and kingmaker.
  • Marshall will recur as Agent Robinson, a lead secret service agent and professional rival of Brown's character.
  • Evans will recur as Jeremy, the President's son, a thinker and dreamer who does not think much of his father's political career and motivations.
  • Beavers will recur as Billy, a fellow secret service agent on the President's detail and one of the best friends to Brown's character.
