AppleTV+'s Murderbot; The CW's The Librarians: The Next Chapter; Max's Hacks; Netflix's Death by Lightning; and Peacock's Hysteria!, Lockerbie & Teacup.

  • Catherine McCormack has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Colin Firth. She previously starred in the Sky One limited series Temple and in the second season of AppleTV+'s Slow Horses.
  • She will play Jane Swire, the wife of Dr. Jim Swire (Firth). The couple lost their daughter, Flora, in the terror attack on Pan Am Flight 103, and have been searching for justice ever since.
  • The cast will also feature Sam Troughton (Chernobyl) as Murray Guthrie; Mark Bonner (Napoleon) as Roderick McGill; Andy Nyman (A Small Light) as Edwin Bollier; Ardalan Esmaili (Opponent) as Abdelbaset al-Megrahi; and Selwa Jghalef (Layers) as Aisha.
  • David Dastmalchian has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Alexander Skarsgård. He stars in the Ant-Man film franchise. He also recurred on CBS' MacGyver, FOX's Gotham and The CW's The Flash.
  • He will play Gurathin.
  • Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace and Tony Goldwyn will guest star in the comedy's upcoming third season. Hunt won an Academy Award in 1998 for As Good as It Gets and four Emmy Awards for NBC's Mad About You. Hendricks starred for seven seasons in AMC's Mad Men and four seasons in NBC's Good Girls. Lloyd starred for four seasons in ABC/NBC's Taxi, winning two Emmy Awards for his performance. Bucatinsky won an Emmy Award for his guest role on ABC's Scandal. Wallace stars in Freevee's upcoming comedy Clean Slate opposite Laverne Cox. Goldwyn starred for seven seasons in ABC's Scandal and recently joined the cast of NBC's Law & Order
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
  • Jessica Green will play the lead role in the upcoming spinoff of TNT's The Librarians. She previously starred for four seasons in The CW's The Outpost.
  • She will play Charlie Cornwall, the Guardian. Having been rejected by the Library, she was at a low point in her life when she got the call to be a "special guardian" on a trial basis. Trained in the military, her dedication and martial art skills are unquestionable. If she can keep the powers that be in line, she can achieve her dream to become a permanent member of the Library.
  • Yvonne Strahovski will star in and produce the upcoming drama created by Ian McCulloch. She currently stars in Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, which has been renewed for a sixth and final season. She has received two Emmy Award nominations for her performance.
  • She will play Maggie Chenoweth.
  • Garret Dillahunt, Nolan North, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti and Jessica Treska have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Julie Bowen and Anna Camp. Dillahunt previously starred for four seasons in FOX's Raising Hope, three seasons in Hulu's The Mindy Project and three seasons in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. North recurred on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Richardson recurred on NBC's New Amsterdam and Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Shapiro starred in the 2018 feature film Hereditary. Scagliotti starred for five seasons in Syfy's Warehouse 13 and three seasons in Freeform's Stichers. Treska recurred on HBO's Sharp Objects and NBC's Good Girls.
  • Dillahunt will play The Reverend. North will play Gene. Richardson will play Cliff. Shapiro will play Ingrid. Scagliotti will play Officer Olsen. Treska will play Judith.
  • Nick Offerman and Betty Gilpin will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Michael Shannon and Matthew Macfadyen. Offerman previously starred for seven seasons in NBC's Parks and Recreation and recently won an Emmy Award for his guest role on HBO's The Last of Us. Gilpin starred for three seasons in Netflix's GLOW and in the Peacock limited series Mrs. Davis.
  • Offerman will play Chester A. Arthur, James Garfield's (Shannon) Vice President and eventual successor.
  • Gilpin will play Crete Garfield, the First Lady and President Garfield's wife.
