- Jurnee Smollett will play the female lead opposite Taron Egerton in the upcoming drama created by Dennis Lehane. She received an Emmy Award nomination in 2021 for her lead performance in HBO's Lovecraft Country. She also starred in the 2020 feature film Birds of Prey.
- The series follows a troubled detective (Smollett) and an enigmatic arson investigator (Egerton) as they pursue the trail of two serial arsonists.
PEACOCK's LAID
- Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Stephanie Hsu. Mamet previously starred for six seasons in HBO's Girls and two seasons in Max's The Flight Attendant. Angarano received an Emmy Award nomination in 2019 for his guest role on NBC's This Is Us. Martinez starred for five seasons in Freeform's Good Trouble, which concluded last week.
- Mamet will play AJ. Angarano will play Richie. Martinez will play Isaac.
