Casting News - March 26, 2024

Amazon's The Terminal List: Dark Wolf; AppleTV+'s Shrinking; CBS' NCIS: Origins; and Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer & The Night Agent.

APPLE TV+'s SHRINKING
  • Series co-creator Brett Goldstein will appear as a guest star in the comedy's upcoming second season. He co-created the comedy alongside Bill Lawrence and Jason Segel. He previously starred for three seasons in AppleTV+'s Ted Lasso, winning two Emmy Awards for his supporting performance.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
CBS' NCIS: ORIGINS
  • Tyla Abercrumbie and Diany Rodriguez have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming NCIS prequel starring Austin Stowell. Abercrumbie has heavily recurred on Showtime's The Chi. Rodriguez previously recurred on NBC's The Blacklist and Peacock's Twisted Metal.
  • Abercrumbie will play Mary Jo, a field operation support officer who is both a product of her time and the lifeblood of the Camp Pendleton office. With all the acronyms floating around the agency, this mama bear has wryly dubbed herself "HSIC": Head Secretary in Charge. If you want to know where the bodies are buried, Mary Jo's the one to ask.
  • Rodriguez will play Vera Strickland, a no-nonsense, sharp-witted Special Agent from Brooklyn who's tough as nails and never minces words. She's spent her entire career being underestimated by misogynistic morons (as she calls them), but if it's a fight those good ol' boys are looking for, then it's a fight they're going to get.
NETFLIX's THE LINCOLN LAWYER
  • Michael Irby, Maisie Klompus and Wolé Parks have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Irby previously starred for five seasons in FX's Mayans M.C. and heavily recurred on HBO's Barry. Klompus recurred on Freeform's Good Trouble. Parks starred for three seasons in The CW's Superman & Lois.
  • Irby will play James De Marco, a decorated DEA agent whom Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) suspects may have a sinister link to one of his cases.
  • Klompus will play Annabeth Stephens, a neighbor of the late Giselle Dallinger. She is interviewed by Cisco (Angus Sampson), but her testimony ends up being more useful to the prosecution.
  • Parks will play David Lyons, the longtime partner of Mickey's client Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye), who has been accused of murder.
NETFLIX's THE NIGHT AGENT
  • Marwan Kenzari, Elise Kibler and Dikran Tulaine have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Kenzari starred in the films Aladdin, Black Adam and The Old Guard. Kibler previously guest starred on Showtime's The Affair, Netflix's Daredevil and TV Land's Younger. Tulaine recurred on NBC's The Blacklist and AMC's The Walking Dead.
  • Kenzari will play Reza, a decorated soldier court marshalled for another man's crime, who's been given the opportunity to be a night agent. Fiercely intelligent, with a wry sense of humor and a trigger temper, he doesn't hesitate to become violent or lethal when backed into a corner.
  • Kibler will play Sloane, a glamorous British socialite. Smart, savvy and glib, she is the girlfriend of the wealthy Tomás Bala (Rob Heaps). She knows how toxic Tomás' family is and tries to convince him to break ties.
  • Tulaine will play Viktor, a smart, dangerous and manipulative man who was once the leader of his country, but has since been convicted of war crimes.
AMAZON's THE TERMINAL LIST: DARK WOLF
  • Robert Wisdom, Rona-Lee Shim'on and Shiraz Tzarfati are set for recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Taylor Kitsch, Chris Pratt and Tom Hopper. Wisdom previously starred for two seasons in TNT's The Alienist and recurred on HBO's Barry. Shim'on starred for four seasons in Netflix's Fauda. Tzarfati guest starred on AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
  • Wisdom will play Jed Haverford, a CIA spymaster with a storied career behind him and one final mission ahead of him. The leader of a covert Sanction Unit working in Europe, he helps oversee Ben Edwards' (Kitsch) transformation from Special Operator to CIA contractor.
  • Shim'on will play Eliza Perash, a veteran Mossad operator tasked with co-leading the team alongside Haverford. She is everything the job requires: pragmatic, fierce, dedicated - a warrior who refuses categorization, and who instantly earns Ben's respect.
  • Tzarfati will play Tal Varon, a fierce young, rebellious team member who has given up her desk job to work in the field under her mentor Eliza Perash. Trained in the technical side of tradecraft, she's put through a trial-by-fire working alongside Ben, Eliza and this team of veteran operators.
