FOX Renews 'Alert: Missing Persons Unit' for Season 3

Ahead of the drama's season finale on May 14, FOX has renewed its original drama series Alert: Missing Persons Unit for a third season. The drama will return as part of the broadcast network's upcoming 2024-25 schedule.

The drama stars Scott Caan, Dania Ramirez, Ryan Broussard, Adeola Role and Alisha-Marie Ahamed.

John Eisendrath created the drama, with Carla Kettner serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Jamie Foxx, Jon Cowan, Brandon Sonnier, Brandon Margolis, Sean Hennen, Datari Turner and Brad Turner. Sony Pictures Television, Fox Entertainment, Danger Doll Productions and Foxxhole Productions produce.

In a cost-efficient deal struck between Sony and Fox, the drama will pick up production of the third season immediately. While an official episode count has not yet been revealed, the drama is expected to have episodes produced and ready for air later this year should the entertainment industry shutdown again if IATSE goes on strike.
