A dedicated journalist trying to make it with the odds stacked against him as a Black professional in 1930s New York, he takes on riskier stories that no one else would touch in order to catch attention and a paycheck. He is willing to do whatever is necessary for his career.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character Gleeson will be playing. However, it's reported he will play the show's villain.
  • Josh Segarra, Felix Solis, Trevor Salter, Britne Oldford, Lauren Weedman, Jenn Lyon, Erin Neufer and Emily Borromeo will round out the main cast of the upcoming limited series starring Julianne Moore. • Salter will play Jordan, the rugged and handsome captain of Ethan's (Glenn Howerton) yacht. All the society ladies have a crush on him.
  • Oldford will play Missy, the seasonal housekeeper for the Kells. She hates this job and hates the commute from the mainfland.
  • Weedman will play Patrice, the long-time personal chef to the Kells. She is professional, tough and no-nonsense.
  • Lyon, Neufer and Borromeo will play Cloe, Lisa and Astrid, collectively known as "The Fates." They often speak as one as a trio and dress identically. They are devoted to Michaela (Moore) and her preservation work. Cloe is the mean girl, Liza is the zealot, and Astrid is the less smart one.

Brooks previously guest starred on Netflix's On My Block and CBS' How We Roll. Shepard starred in Paramount+'s one-season drama Wolf Pack.
