FX Reveals Premiere Dates for 'Alien: Earth,' 'The Bear' and 'The Lowdown'

FX has today announced premiere dates for the upcoming fourth season of its original dramedy series The Bear as well as the series debuts of the new original drama series Alien: Earth and The Lowdown.






All 10 episodes of the fourth season of The Bear will be available to stream under the FX banner on Hulu on Wednesday, June 25 at 8/7c.

The new season finds Carmy, Sydney and Richie pushing forward, determined not only to survive, but also to take The Bear to the next level. With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust and overcome. This season, the pursuit of excellence isn't just about getting better - it's about deciding what's worth holding on to.

The series stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles.

Christopher Storer created the series. He executive produces with Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai and Rene Gube. FX Productions produces.

The 8-episode first season of Alien: Earth will debut on Tuesday, August 12 with back-to-back episodes starting at 8/7c. The episodes will be able to stream at the same time under the FX banner on Hulu. The drama becomes the first series to air concurrently on FX and Hulu.

In the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans. But the game is changed when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named "Wendy" marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani's spaceship collides into Prodigy City, Wendy and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.

The drama stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adrian Edmondson, David Rysdahl, Essie Davis, Lily Newmark, Erana James, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Kit Young, Diêm Camille, Moe Bar-El and Sandra Yi Sencindiver.

Noah Hawley created the latest extension of the Alien film franchise. He executive produces with Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Joseph Iberti, Dana Gonzales and Clayton Krueger. FX Productions produces.

The 8-episode first season of The Lowdown will launch on Tuesday, September 23 at 9/8c. with back-to-back episodes. The episodes will be available to stream the next day under the FX banner on Hulu.

The drama follows the gritty exploits of citizen journalist Lee Raybon, a self-proclaimed Tulsa "truthstorian" whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble.

The drama stars Ethan Hawke, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kaniehtiio Horn, Tim Blake Nelson, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Kyle MacLachlan and Keith David.
