NETFLIX's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER
- Jon Jon Briones, Tantoo Cardinal, Terry Chen, Dolly de Leon, Lily Gau, Madison Hu and Dichen Lachman have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Briones previously starred in the Netflix limited series Ratched and the FX limited series Class of '09. Cardinal starred in the Prime Video limited series Three Pines and the Disney+ limited series Echo. Chen currently recurs on The CW's Wild Cards. de Leon stars in the second season of Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers, which debuts tomorrow. Gau recurred on Prime Video's The Expanse and NBC's Transplant. Hu recurred on Netflix's The Brothers Sun. Lachman currently stars in AppleTV+'s Severance, which has been renewed for a third season.
- Briones will play Piandao. Cardinal will play Hama. Chen will play Jeong Jeong. de Leon will play Lo and Li. Gau will play Ursa. Hu will play Fei. Lachman will play Yangchen.
APPLE TV+'s PRODIGIES
- Rina Sawayama has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Will Sharpe and Ayo Edebiri. The singer-songwriter previously recurred on Netflix's Turn Up Charlie and appeared in the film John Wick: Chapter 4.
- She will play Hana, Ren's (Sharpe) sister.
