CBS has today renewed its original daytime soap opera Beyond the Gates for a second season. The renewal comes after the daily program has aired 50 episodes since its February 2025 debut.
The drama stars Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnée Duplaix, Karla Mosley, Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Brandon Claybon, Timon Kyle Durrett, Sean Freeman, Ben Gavin, Marquita Goings, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob, Trisha Mann-Grant, Mike Manning, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Colby Muhammad, and Arielle Prepetit.
The renewal comes ahead of the drama's first recast with Keith D. Robinson set to make his debut as Ted Richardson later this week, succeeding original star Maurice Johnson.
Recurring guest stars include Jason Graham, Najah Jackson, Ernestine Johnson, Karan Kendrick, Maurice P. Kerry, Destiny Love, Jon Lindstrom, Cady McClain, Jaden Lucas Miller, Jerri Tubbs and Ellie Wang.
