Hulu has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Chad Powers developed by and starring Glen Powell.
The first season will debut on Tuesday, September 30 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Tuesday.
The comedy follows hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell), whose bad behavior nukes his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.
In addition to Powell, the comedy stars Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez and Steve Zahn.
Powell co-created the comedy with Michael Waldron based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of Eli's Place. They executive produce with Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, Adam Fasullo, Luvh Rakhe and director Tony Yacenda. 20th Television, Omaha Productions and Anomaly Pictures produce.
