Netflix Gives Series Order to Drama 'The Secret of Secrets' Based on Forthcoming Novel by Dan Brown

Netflix has today given a series order to the original drama series The Secret of Secrets based on the upcoming novel by Dan Brown, the sixth book in his series about Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.

The drama will follow symbologist Robert Langdon as he races against ancient forces and time to rescue a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript whose discoveries have the power to forever change humanity's understanding of the mind. The series will blend futuristic science with mystical lore, delivering on the heart-pounding suspense and international intrigue that has made the Langdon stories a global phenomenon.

Brown co-created the series adaptation with showrunner Carlton Cuse. They will executive produce with Emma Forman. Genre Arts will produce in association with Netflix.
