Syfy Reveals Premiere Dates for Season 4 of 'Resident Alien' and New Drama 'Revival'

Syfy has today announced premiere dates for the upcoming fourth season of its original dramedy series Resident Alien as well as the series debut of the new drama Revival.






The fourth season of Resident Alien will premiere on Friday, June 6 at 10/9c. as a simulcast between Syfy and USA. The new season was originally picked up as a new original at USA following a three-season run on Syfy. However, the new episodes will now air on both networks this summer.

The new season starts with Harry and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. Asta and D'arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren't caused by anything human.

The dramedy stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Levi Fiehler, Meredith Garretson and Judah Prehn.

Recurring guest stars include Gary Farmer, Gracelyn Awad Rinke, Jenna Lamia, Sarah Podemski, Linda Hamilton, Enver Gjokaj, Terry O'Quinn, Edi Patterson, Jewel Staite, and Stephen Root.

Chris Sheridan developed the series based on the Dark Horse comic. He executive produces with Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Robert Duncan McNeill, and Nastaran Dibai. Universal Content Productions, Amblin Television and Dark Horse Entertainment produce.

Meanwhile, the first season of Revival will launch on Thursday, June 12 at 10/9c.

On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the "revived" appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she's left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.

The drama stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen.

Recurring guest stars include Steven Ogg, Phil Brooks, Gia Sandhu, Katherine King So, Maia Jae, Nathan Dales, Mark Little, Glen Gould, Lara Jean Chorostecki and Conrad Coates.

Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce developed the drama based on the Image Comics series. They executive produce with Scrofano, Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, Samantha Levine, Neil Tabatznik, Daniel March, Greg Hemmings, Stephen Foster and Amanda Row. Blue Ice Pictures and Hemmings Films produce.
