Casting News - June 11, 2025

CBS' Boston Blue; MGM+'s The Westies; and Peacock's The Five-Star Weekend.

MGM+'s THE WESTIES
  • Jessica Frances Dukes has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring J.K. Simmons and Titus Welliver. She previously starred for two seasons in Netflix's Ozark and in the MGM+ limited series Earth Abides. She will next appear in a recurring role on the upcoming third season of HBO's The Gilded Age
  • She will play Birdie Polk, the sharp and unflinching Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Gambino Task Force, determined to take down Irish and Italian organized crime.
CBS' BOSTON BLUE
  • Marcus Scribner will co-star on the upcoming Blue Bloods spinoff starring Donnie Wahlberg, Sonequa Martin-Green, Ernie Hudson, Maggie Lawson and Gloria Reuben. He previously starred for eight seasons in ABC's Black-ish and two seasons in its Freeform spinoff Grown-ish.
  • He will play Jonah, the youngest member of the Silver family and is in law enforcement like his mother (Reuben) and sisters (Martin-Green, Lawson) - each of whom are formidable in their own ways. Always the cool kid growing up, he carries himself with confidence and swagger in all situations, so he's naturally frustrated at being a rookie cop on the sidelines of the city's biggest investigations.
PEACOCK's THE FIVE-STAR WEEKEND
  • D'Arcy Carden has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, ChloĆ« Sevigny and Gemma Chan. She previously starred for four seasons in NBC's The Good Place, receiving an Emmy Award nomination for her performance in 2020. She also recurred on HBO's Barry, Netflix's Nobody Wants This and Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.
  • She will play Brooke Kirtley.
