Season 3 of 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' Receives Premiere Date on AMC

As one Walking Dead series ends its season, another prepares for its return. Today, AMC released the season two finale of The Walking Dead: Dead City. The network has also announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.





The six-episode third season will launch on Sunday, September 7 at 9/8c.

In the new season, Daryl and Carol continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.

The drama stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay.

Recurring guest stars include Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín and Stephen Merchant.

David Zabel returns as showrunner for the third season. He executive produces with Reedus, McBride, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, Steve Squillante, Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega. AMC Studios, Skybound Entertainment, Valhalla Entertainment, Circle of Confusion and Ánima Stillking produce.
