Jennifer Aniston to Star in AppleTV+'s 'I'm Glad My Mom Died' Adaptation from Jennette McCurdy

AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original dramedy series I'm Glad My Mom Died based on the memoir by Jennette McCurdy. Furthermore, Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show) will star in and executive produce the series.

The series will center on the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kid's show, and her narcissistic mother (Aniston) who relishes in her identity as "a starlet's mother."

McCurdy co-created the series with Ari Katcher. They will serve as co-showrunners on the 10-episode first season. They will also executive produce with Aniston, Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg, Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Jerrod Carmichael and Erica Kay. Apple Studios, Echo Films, Merman and LuckyChap Entertainment will produce.
