FOX's Best Medicine; HBO Max's The Pitt; Hulu's Untitled Liz Meriwether Drama; and Netflix's The Altruists.
NETFLIX's THE ALTRUISTS
- Eugene Young, Madison Hu, Karan Soni, Matt Rife, Alex Lawther, Naomi Okada, Maddie Hasson, Marianna Phung, Paul Reiser and Robin Weigert have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Julia Garner and Anthony Boyle.
- In series regular roles, Young (The King's Affection, Squid Game) will play Gary Wang; Hu (Bizaardvark, The Brothers Sun) will play Constance Wang; Soni (Deadpool, Miracle Workers) will play Nishad Singh; Rife (That '90s Show, Mo) will play Ryan Salame; Lawther (Andor, Alien: Earth) will play Sam Trabucco; and Okada (Q Train) will play Claire Watanabe.
- As recurring guest stars, Hasson (Impulse, The Recruit) will play Lauren Platt; Phung (Y: The Last Man, Tokens) will play Lily Zhang; Reiser (Mad About You, Stranger Things) will play Joe Bankman; and Weigert (Deadwood, Big Little Lies) will play Barbara Fried.
FOX's BEST MEDICINE
- Annie Potts is set as a series regular on the upcoming dramedy starring Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer and Josh Segarra. She previously starred for seven seasons in CBS' Designing Women and seven seasons in CBS' Young Sheldon. She currently recurs on the latter's spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.
- She will play Joan, Martin's (Charles) aunt, a strong, sturdy, lobster woman who still goes out every day on her boat, and no one better tell her to stop if they know what's good for them. She's salt of the earth and underneath her stern demeanor, she has a heart as big as the sea. She loves her small Maine town and her cranky nephew. She's loyal but stubborn, the kind of woman you want to be around and not disappoint. But even Joan will have a few secrets - including why she ended up losing touch with Martin so many years before.
HBO MAX's THE PITT
- Tracy Ifeachor will not return as a series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. She becomes the first actor confirmed to be departing the cast of the acclaimed series. She appeared in 11 episodes of the first season.
- She played Dr. Heather Collins, a fourth-year resident who suffered a miscarriage during the first season and missed out entirely on the mass casualty event that concluded the season.
HULU's UNTITLED LIZ MERIWETHER DRAMA
- Quincy Tyler Bernstine will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Emmy Rossum and Lola Petticrew. She was nominated for a Tony Award in 2024 for her featured role in the play Doubt: A Parable. She also recurred on Starz's Power and Showtime's Ray Donovan.
- She will play Nora, a veteran FBI agent working alongside Alice (Rossum) in the department who has worked on hundreds of homicides and human trafficking cases.
