TNT's THE LIBRARIANS: THE NEXT CHAPTER
- The drama has set its roster of guest stars for its upcoming second season. Actors who will appear include Dominic Monaghan (Lost), Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso), Josh Gates (Expedition Unknown), Stephan Kapičić (Deadpool), Oliver Dench (Pandora), Ty Tennant (House of the Dragon), Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2), Alan Emrys (Translations), Malcolm Sinclair (Andor), Reece Ritchie (The Ark), Cat White (Ten Percent), Gledisa Arthur (Everyone Is Going to Die), Jack Cunningham-Nuttall (The Crown), Danny Rea (Kingdom), Luka Divac (Boys and Girls), and Alex Henry (Shenanigans).
- The second season will also see Lindy Booth reprise her role from TNT's The Librarians as Cassandra Cillian. She will join her former co-star Christian Kane, who will continue to return in his role as Jacob Stone.
CBS' WATSON
- Robert Carlyle will portray the legendary literary detective Sherlock Holmes on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred for two seasons in Syfy's Stargate Universe, seven seasons in ABC's Once Upon a Time, three seasons in Sky Max's COBRA, and in the Netflix limited series Toxic Town.
- In the new season, Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) faces an unexpected twist when his friend Sherlock Holmes, who was presumed dead, resurfaces, forcing him to confront a buried secret from his past - one that lies hidden within his own body.
NETFLIX's FREE BERT
- Matthew Del Negro, Robert Mello and Braxton Alexander have landed recurring roles on the upcoming comedy created by and starring Bert Kreischer. Del Negro previously starred for two seasons in Showtime's City on a Hill and recurred on Peacock's Long Bright River. Mello recurred on BET's Sistas. Alexander recurred on Audience's Mr. Mercedes and Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
NETFLIX's UNTITLED JESSE MCKEOWN SERIES
- Rohan Campbell has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming limited series starring Josh Hartnett, Mackenzie Davis, Charlie Heaton, Natasha Henstridge and Joshua Close. He previously starred for three seasons in Hulu's The Hardy Boys. He also recurred on The CW's The 100 and Netflix's Virgin River.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
HBO's HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
- Annie Shapero has landed a major recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She previously starred in the Channel 13 series Red Skies and guest starred on Prime Video's The Narrow Road to the Deep North.
- She will play Alysanne Blackwood. Known as Black Aly, the fearless warrior is Lord Benjicot Blackwood's aunt and fights for Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) in the Dance of the Dragons before marrying Lord Cregan Stark (Tom Taylor).
MGM+'s THE WESTIES
- Allen Leech, Hamish Allan-Headley, Vincent Walsh and Hilary McCormack will co-star on the upcoming drama starring J.K. Simmons and Titus Welliver. Leech previously starred for six seasons in ITV's Downton Abbey as well as its three feature film follow-ups. Allan-Headley currently stars in Paramount+'s Mayor of Kingstown, which has been renewed for a fourth season. Walsh recurred on MGM+'s Billy the Kid. McCormack starred in the MGM+ limited series Earth Abides.
- Leech will play Brendan Cahill, a ruthless IRA cell leader with deep political ambitions that cause him to see every human relationship as either leverage or liability.
- Allan-Headly will play John Gotti, the brash, rising capo of the Gambino crime family, who chafes under the leadership of Big Paul Castellano.
- Walsh will play Eddie Breen, Eamon Sweeney's (Simmons) most trusted lieutenant and advisor, a streetwise Westie with a knack for chopping up and disappearing bodies.
- McCormack will play Erin Malone, a street hustler with charm, ambition, and just enough edge to earn Mickey Flangan's (Stanley Morgan) affection and trust.
