AppleTV+ Unveils Premiere Date for New Drama 'Down Cemetery Road' Starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson

AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Down Cemetery Road starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson.






The 8-episode first season will launch on Wednesday, October 29 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday until its season finale on December 10.

When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbor Sarah Tucker (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson). Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.

In addition to Thompson and Wilson, the cast features Adeel Akhtar, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Tom Goodman-Hill, Darren Boyd, Tom Riley, Adam Godley, Sinead Matthews, Ken Nwosu, Fehinti Balogun and Aiysha Hart.

Morwenna Banks developed the drama based on the novel by Mick Herron. The showrunner and author executive produce with Thompson, Wilson, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Tom Nash and director Natalie Bailey. Apple Studios and 60Forty Films produce.
