Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original drama series My Life With the Walter Boys.
All 10 episodes of the second season will be available on Thursday, August 28. The drama has already been renewed for a third season.
The new season will pick up after Jackie left Silver Falls, caught between Alex telling her he loves her while drunk at Will and Haley's wedding and Cole kissing her. After spending a summer in New York City, Katherine convinces her to come back to Colorado, where Jackie wants to make amends with Alex and take some space from Cole.
Alex, who has changed quite a bit over the summer, isn't exactly keen to make up with Jackie, and he focuses all his energy on training for a rodeo event while enjoying the new attention people are paying him. Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but he finds it doesn't quite make up for playing football. Then, his old habits start to make things messy. While Jackie finds she might fit back into Silver Falls after all, she has to keep the balance or things could topple everything she's worked hard to rebuild.
The drama stars Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Connor Stanhope, Zoƫ Soul, Jaylan Evans, Ellie O'Brien, Sarah Rafferty and Marc Blucas.
Recurring guest stars include Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Alex Quijano, Ashley Tavares, Dean Petriw, Alix West Lefler, Lennix James, Alisha Newton, Kolton Stewart, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Jesse Lipscombe, Nathaniel Arcand, Natalie Sharp, Carson MacCormac, Janet Kidder, Riele Downs and Jake Manley.
Melanie Halsall developed the drama based on the novel by Ali Novak. She executive produces with Ed Glauser and Becky Hartman Edwards. Sony Pictures Television, iGeneration Studios and Nomadic Pictures produce.
