Netflix Cancels 'Pulse' and 'The Residence'

Netflix has today decided to cancel its original drama series Pulse and its original comedy series The Residence. Both series released their first and only seasons this spring.






Pulse starred Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Daniela Nieves, Chelsea Muirhead, Jessy Yates and Justina Machado.

Zoe Robyn created the drama. She executive produced with Carlton Cuse, Bradley Gardner, Emma Forman, Michael Klick and Kate Dennis. MGM Television, Genre Arts and Busy B Entertainment produced. 

The 10-episode first season debuted on April 3, 2025.

The Residence starred Uzo Aduba, Giancarlo Esposito, Molly Griggs, Ken Marino, Randall Park, Susan Kelechi Watson, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Edwina Findley, Jason Lee, Al Mitchell, Dan Perrault, Bronson Pinchot, Julieth Restrepo, Mel Rodriguez and Mary Wiseman.

Paul William Davies created the series. He executive produced with Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers. Shondaland produced.

The 8-episode first season dropped on March 20, 2025.
