HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE
- Nicolas Cage is in negotiations to star in the upcoming fifth installment of the anthology series. He has received two Academy Award nominations - winning in 1996 for his lead role in Leaving Las Vegas. He is also best known for starring in the films Moonstruck, Con Air and National Treasure. He will make his TV series regular debut next year in MGM+'s upcoming drama Spider-Noir.
- The fifth installment will reportedly be set in the Jamaica Bay area of New York, with Cage playing the lead role of New York detective Henry Logan.
FOX's THE FAITHFUL
- Alexa Davalos, Tom Mison, Tom Payne and Ben Robson will star in Part 2 of the upcoming limited series. Davalos previously starred for four seasons in Prime Video's The Man in the High Castle and two seasons in CBS' FBI: Most Wanted. Mison starred for four seasons in FOX's Sleepy Hollow, in the HBO limited series Watchmen and two seasons in AppleTV+'s See. Payne starred for three seasons in AMC's The Walking Dead and two seasons in FOX's Prodigal Son. Robson starred for two seasons in History's Vikings and six seasons in TNT's Animal Kingdom.
- Davalos will play Rebekah, the woman who risked everything. When a mysterious stranger arrives with an invitation, she makes a decision that will define generations. Bold, compassionate, and courageous, she's tested in every imaginable way after a conversation with God sets her on an irreversible path.
- Mison will play Isaac, Rebekah's husband. He is burdened by an inheritance he didn't ask for and haunted by a faith he both fears and yearns to understand. The son of Abraham and Sarah, he's a man deeply shaped by his near sacrifice from his father's hand at God's instruction.
- Payne will play Jacob, a survivor and strategist. Mired by his position as the second-born son, he learns to rely on cunning and determination for the blessing he seeks. In Jacob, we see not perfection, but transformation. Not divine purity, but divine persistence.
- Robson will play Esau, a hunter and warrior who carries the weight of expectation placed on the firstborn son. He is loved deeply by his family, but becomes a pawn in a larger game that plays out between him and his brother.
HBO MAX's THE PITT
- Zack Morris has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred in the first season of Disney+'s Goosebumps. From 2017 to 2022, he appeared in the British soap opera EastEnders.
- He will play Jackson Davis, a patient brought to the ED after an uncontrollable outburst in the college library.
CBS' NCIS
- Nancy Travis will guest star in the two-part Season 23 premiere of the veteran drama. She previously starred for nine seasons in ABC/FOX's Last Man Standing and two seasons in Netflix's The Kominsky Method. She has also recurred on Audience's Mr. Mercedes and ABC's Shifting Gears.
- She will play Navy Vice Admiral Harriet Parker, the sister of Special Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole).
DISNEY+'s PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS
- Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Keen previously starred for three seasons in HBO's His Dark Materials and in Disney+'s one-season drama The Acolyte. Chaudry starred in Disney+'s one-season comedy The Muppets Mayhem.
- Keen will play Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt.
- Chaudry will play Zoë Nightshade, an immortal hunter who serves as Artemis' lieutenant.
HBO's THE COMEBACK
- Tim Bagley, Matt Cook, Jack O'Brien and Ella Stiller have joined the cast of the comedy's upcoming third season. Bagley previously recurred on Netflix's Grace and Frankie, Netflix's The Perfect Couple and HBO's Somebody Somewhere. Cook starred for four seasons in CBS' Man With a Plan. A three-time Tony Award winning director, O'Brien appeared in the HBO documentary film Becoming Mike Nichols. Stiller recently recurred on HBO Max's And Just Like That.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
