Hulu has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Mid-Century Modern after one season. Series co-creator Max Mutchnick revealed the cancellation in an Instagram post earlier today.

The comedy starred Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham and the late Linda Lavin.

Mutchnick co-created the series with David Kohan. They executive produced with Lane, Bomer, Ryan Murphy and director James Burrows. 20th Television, KoMut Entertainment and Ryan Murphy Television produced.

All ten episodes of the first season were released on March 28, 2025. The show received four Emmy Award nominations - for Directing, Picture Editing, Production Design, and Sound Mixing - but didn't win any for its only season.
